I'm originally from Detroit but presently incarcerated in federal prison. I hope this doesn't lessen the value of my words. i try to keep my mind and body both healthy by reading, writing, working out, and learning new things. Nothing teaches wisdom better than the experiences we encounter in life. It has been my experiences that now have me seeking the knowledge and skills to start a non-profit organization for at-risk youth upon my release. I heard someone say one day, "who's better to put out the fire than one who's been through it?" I'm in the fire-and I understand the cycle that exist.
